Designed for the body, not the photo
Most meditation discomfort comes from the same place: knees folded flat with the weight dropping straight onto the ankles. Raising and tilting the seat just a few degrees shifts that load onto the shins and lets the pelvis roll forward, which is exactly what an upright, sustainable posture needs.
We prototyped the angle over two years with a Vancouver physiotherapist and a stubborn group of early-morning sitters. The 8-degree slope is the version everyone kept coming back to — supportive without tipping you forward.
Pairs naturally with the Zafu and Terra cushions.
